FTP Upload - File Transfer Services to Get Your Project Moving
To access the Oil City Press Ltd. FTP Server at ftp.oilcitypress.com we recommend using an FTP Client application (software that allows you to manage and transfer files). A couple of our favourites are FileZilla Client and FireFTP (a Mozilla Firefox Plugin). Both are free, reliable and easy to use. You may also use your browser to download files from the server (see instructions at the bottom of the page).
To Upload Files
Follow the instructions below to upload files to the Oil City Press Ltd. FTP Server:

Contact us at 403-255-9466 or via email at oilcity@oilcitypress.com to set up your account. You'll receive an email message with your new Username and Password. Oil City Press Ltd. FTP Accounts will remain active for 1 year.
Compress Your Files & Folders
Oil City Press Ltd. recommends that you compress files and/or folders prior to uploading them to the server to expedite the file transfer. It's not necessary to compress individual PDF files.
Connect to Our FTP Server
Enter the FTP Server Address (ftp.oilcitypress.com), Username and Password into your FTP Client software.
Transfer Your Files
Select the compressed files you wish to transfer and begin your upload. File transfer rate may vary depending on your connection speed, so please be patient.
And Please Remember...
Contact Oil City Press Ltd. to let us know that your files have been uploaded to our server. Please note that any unsolicited or anonymous files will be deleted.
Upload Files Via Print Quotes
You can also register with our Instant Online Quoting System to place an order and upload files. Your files will be put into production automatically. No need to contact us. We'll send you a proof prior to printing.
Download Files Via Your Browser
Click here to download files from the FTP Server using your browser. Enter your Username and Password when prompted.
Problem Uploading Your Files?
If you're having difficulty uploading your files via FTP, try using a free third-party file transfer service. A few of the reliable services we like include:

- www.transferbigfiles.com (100 MB limit)
- www.dropbox.com (2 GB limit).
